TASTING NOTES

This expressive Merlot presents a deep garnet hue, hinting at its concentration and ripeness. The nose unfolds with generous aromas of ripe black cherry, plum, and blackberry compote, layered with delicate notes of vanilla, mocha, and a whisper of toasted oak—an elegant imprint from its time in barrique barrels. On the palate, the wine is plush and fruit-forward, with velvety tannins and a supple mouthfeel. Juicy dark fruits dominate the mid-palate, interwoven with subtle nuances of sweet spice, cedar, and a faint touch of cocoa. The oak influence remains well-integrated, lending structure without overpowering the varietal character. A gentle acidity brings freshness and balance, while the finish lingers gracefully with echoes of ripe berry fruit, warm spice, and a hint of smokiness. This Merlot showcases both richness and finesse, offering a harmonious expression of fruit, oak, and terroir.
